The D/17 spherical transducer is a versatile design providing an omni-directional transmit and receive beam pattern. 

With a large operating bandwidth and capable of achieving source levels of 201 dB when operated below 10m water depth. It is particularly suitable as a high-power noise source or communications transducer. 

The D/17 is available with or without acoustic calibration, traceable to National Standards.
